The course addresses living trust in a very comprehensive manner. First it develops a comparative picture between a will and a living trust.
It shows the problems with probate associated with a will and how you can avoid probate by using a living trust. You can lose control over your
assets in many different ways. The course addresses them one by one. It then shows how you can keep control over your assets while living and
after you die by using a living trust. It also covers many other benefits of a living trust, such as preventing unintentional disinheriting and preventing
court control of a minor children's inheritance. It teaches you how to plan, create, and fund a living trust. It explains the roles and responsibilities of
different players, such as the grantor, the trustee, and the successor trustee, of a living trust. Various tax saving strategies are also covered in the course.
